Poured Collage Paintings
I call this new technique “poured collage” because it combines poured painting and collage. After every painting session, I gather the dried paint that dripped off of poured paintings, then cut and collage these paint pieces to make new artworks. This re-purposing makes it an eco-friendly technique.
I started making poured acrylic mineral paintings in 2012. Most recently, I have made malachite paintings as well as agate paintings.
Poured Agate Paintings (2012-present)
In 2013 Rocks & Minerals Magazine featured some of these paintings in my artist interview.

Textured Abstract Paintings
I combine knife painting techniques with watercolor techniques to create soft-edged, yet highly-textured abstract paintings. These are often abstract florals or abstract landscapes.
